System Requirements (Requires use of CD’s)
- Operating System – Windows 95,
Windows 98, Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, and Windows XP
- Processor – Pentuim 200 or
faster recommended
- Memory – 128 MB RAM
recommended; 64 MB RAM minimum
- Hard Disk Space – Approximately
200 MB hard disk space for Levels 1 and 2; an additional 650 MB
(approximately) hard disk space required for each NLG (Native Language
Guide).
- Video – SVGA 24 or
32-bit color, screen resolution of 480 X 800 or 600 X 800
- Sound – 100%
SoundBlaster compatible sound card and speakers or headphones
- CD-ROM – 4x speed CD-ROM
drive or faster recommended
- Additional Software – Requires
QuickTime 4.0 and Macromedia Flash Player 5.0 (both included on the
installation CD). Internet Explorer 4.0 or better is also required for
Instructor Utilities.

Card – 100 BT (full duplex)
- Design – A hub can be
used with fewer than 5 users. A 100 MB switch must be used with more than
5 users, with a maximum of 2 switches in the design of the network.

higher recommended; Mac OS 7.5 minimum, OS 9 or OS X in CLassic Mode

*These are minimum memory requirements for ELLIS. Other memory-resident
programs as well as the amount of disk space on the server will affect the
