This video is based on the concepts in Peter Block's book by the same title, and uses the
experiences of real people in AT&T's Phone Centers to demonstrate that it is possible to create
an entrepreneurial spirit within a large traditional organization. The story focuses on one
manager's struggle to empower herself and her people.
This video also includes on-camera interviews with author, Peter Block, and Bob Martin, Vice
President AT&T Phone Centers, and examines an ongoing transition from bureaucratic to
participative management.
